High quality long lasting knives do not come cheap!
Around here probably one of the closer places to buy better quality knives (read: not walmart or kmart) would be Bed Bath & Beyond. Kohls carries some food network branded knives. If there's a kitchen supply store around here it's slipping my memory.

IMO the best knives are sharp and not sticking in me anywhere or used to mutilate my flesh.

How many people know of the Rada knives?
I do. Rada does a very good job for their price. I saw the gold mine of Rada knives today at a flea market.

anything ceramic................ love ceramic knives. what exactly are you looking for just all purpose knives or what? this is a very broad topic.
